This video course visually documents a pure process of reverse-engineering. To fully understand how Bitcoin works, no external libraries were used: the entire protocol was dismantled and manipulated exclusively via terminal (Bash), manual study, and direct source code analysis.
The practical (Hands-On) curriculum includes:
- Network Setup & Analysis: Configuration of a complete P2P node, real-time block querying, and manual exploration of the Genesis block.
- Consensus Engineering: Practical validation of the Proof of Work, programmatic calculation of mining difficulty, and simulated management of Soft and Hard Fork events.
- Security & HD Architecture: Entropy generation (Seed), exploration of Hierarchical Deterministic key derivation (CKD), and deep analysis of cryptographic formats (xprv, xpub).
- Transaction Creation & Signing: Manipulation and serialization of inputs/outputs (UTXO), dynamic fee calculation, verification of Locking Scripts, and construction of the transaction for network broadcast.
The chosen approach is purely low-level: getting our hands dirty with the CLI to master consensus mechanisms (including Soft/Hard Forks and the Byzantine Generals Problem) and to truly understand the architecture of a distributed system.
